This coat dress set from the early 1960s is classic and refined. It's a peach wavy textured knit that comes with an over coat, sleeveless shell top, and dress with a lining top. The coat has all the original large buttons down the front, 3/4 length sleeves and faux pockets. The top is unlined with a back metal half zipper. The dress underneath features a lining fabric tank shell and knit pencil skirt with a metal zipper down the center back. It is in excellent condition, very minor yellowing to the collar and armpits. It's label inside reads, "Adante Jrs.". The lining fabric feels like acetate, and the ribbed fabric is a stretchy knit. The coat is lined in the center. The bust of the dress measures 36 inches, waist 25 inches, hips 38 inches, length 39 1/2 inches. Top length is 17 1/2 inches, length of coat is 40 inches. Wear them together or separate! Shown on a mannequin that measures Bust 36 inches, Waist 25 inches, Hips 36 inches. Coat shown buttoned up on a smaller mannequin that measures Bust 33 1/2 inches, Waist 21 1/2 inches, Hips 34 inches. This is an authentic vintage set in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
